Winter purslane smoothie

IMG_2777.jpgA very tasteful and delicious sunday-afternoon-smoothie. After a large and cozy family breakfast, lunch would be too much. So this fresh and super healthy purslane smoothie could be a perfect substitute. The Sattvic Yoga Lifestyle teaches us to always eat light and in balance with other meals during the day. Even if you would go outside and take a long walk, this smoothie will give you enough energy, because it is full of prana, chlorophyll and vitamins.

Of course it contains only organic season veggies and fruits: apple, mandarin, winter purslane and a tiny peace of fresh ginger. Blend it with a small amount of fresh water and finish it with a lovely cherry tomato on the rim of the glass. The combination of the strong green, sweat fruits and the soft tomato makes this a lovely, light but powerful lunch-smoothie. Bon apetit!
