In this world of many things to do and so many distractions it is sometimes hard to meditate. The monkey mind is taking over on these moments. Just stay relaxed, accept any of your thoughts and give the monkey something to do. Like a mantra or focus deeply on your breathing. What helps me most is my home-made-variation of the Light meditation. I first watch the sun for a couple of minutes (with good sunglasses on, or very early in the morning when the sun comes up). I say thank you to her with the namaskar mudra and ask for her help. Then I sit down and see her light in my heart and all of my single chakra’s. I shine so much light that all of my surroundings are brilliantly shining too. Enough distraction for my monkey mind! God bless you!
